For those who want all the qualities and budget-friendly advantages of our iconic TenaciousĀ® model in a slightly smaller package, the PersistenceĀ® is the perfect answer. The Persistence Lightweight raises the bar even further, adding the benefit of handle scales injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The molded scales reduce its weight by almost 10 percent compared to its G-10-handled counterpart and offer the enhanced grip traction of our signature Bi-Directional Textureā¢ pattern. All other features are consistent with the original model, including a full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, full, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a four-position pocket clip, and a sturdy LinerLock mechanism. The Persistence Lightweight is available with a satin-finished blade and brightly finished handle hardware with a choice of PlainEdgeā¢, partially serrated CombinationEdgeā¢, or fully serrated SpyderEdgeā¢ configurations. For tactical environments, or for those who simply prefer the look of an all-black knife, it is also available in PlainEdge and SpyderEdge formats with a black oxide blade coating and black-coated hardware.Ā
