Building on the legacy of our Mantraā¢ series, the fourth-generation Mantraā¢ 4 is a sleek, stylish folding knife with an exceptionally refined front-flipper opener. In the closed position, a tiny sliver of the bladeās tang stands proud above the spine of the handle. Despite its minimalist design, a stroke of the index finger against its textured surface propels the blade swiftly and reliably into the open position. Full-flat-ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade also features a fully functional Trademark Round Holeā¢ and rides on ball bearing washers for an ultra-smooth action.Ā
The Mantra 4 is available in three configurations: one with contoured white G-10 handle scales and a satin-finished blade, one with carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales and a satin-finished blade, and an all-black version with a black oxide-coated blade, contoured black G-10 scales, and black-coated handle hardware. All feature a single stainless steel liner nested in the reverse-side scale that provides the foundation of the knifeās sturdy LinerLock mechanism while keeping it exceptionally slim and lightweight. The handles of each version also include a reversible deep-pocket wire clip and a lanyard hole. Together they provide a choice of left- or right-side tip-up carry and allow the easy attachment of a lanyard or fob.
