Native Chief⢠Lightweight Salt® LC200N
Twenty-one percent lighter than its G-10- handled counterpart, the Native Chief⢠Lightweight features a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle and a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture⢠pattern for a positive, non-slip grip. Those qualities made it an ideal candidate for inclusion in Spydercoās remarkable SaltĀ® Series of knives specifically designed for use in and around the water. This Native Chief Lightweight SaltĀ® showcases a full-flat-ground blade precision machined from ultra-corrosion-resistant LC200N steel, best known as NASAās material of choice for ball bearings used in spacecraft. Available in both PlainEdge⢠and fully serrated SpyderEdge⢠formats, the blade is paired with a linerless FRN handle injection molded in the signature high-visibility green color of our LC200N lightweight Salt family. The vibrant handle also houses the knifeās sturdy back lock mechanism and includes four sets of threaded inserts to allow fully configurable mounting of a four-position pocket clip. Like all our Salt Series folders, the clip and hardware of this knife are also crafted from ultra-corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials and select parts are further enhanced with proprietary black coatings.
