The Pacific SaltĀ® 2 proudly offers all the key features of the iconic EnduraĀ® 4 Lightweight in an ultra-corrosion-resistant format. These include refined ergonomics, a high-traction Bi-Directional Textureā¢ pattern on the handle, a high-strength back lock mechanism, and a black-coated titanium pocket clip that supports left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Unlike the Endura 4, which uses stainless steel liners in the handle, the Pacific Salt 2ās incredibly lightweight linerless handle is molded from two pieces of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and fitted with four sets of threaded stainless steel inserts to mount its four-position clip. All other metal hardware on the Pacific Salt 2 is also machined from special marine-grade alloys and black coated for extreme corrosion resistance. Ā
This expression of the design showcases a full-flat-ground blade crafted from LC200N martensitic blade steel. This nitrogen-enriched alloy offers both exceptional resistance to corrosion and excellent edge-holding properties. Available in both PlainEdgeā¢ and fully serrated SpyderEdgeā¢ formats, this remarkable knife features a high-visibility green handle color that is a signature of Spydercoās LC200N family.
