This elite version of Spyderco’s Para 3 was created exclusively for Bento Box Shop. It showcases both a high-performance blade steel and Bento Box Shop’s signature bright blue handle color in one dynamic package.
The full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is machined from premium M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. Developed by the renowned Austrian steel firm Böhler-Uddeholm, M390 was created to offer extremely high wear resistance and corrosion resistance for demanding manufacturing applications like the plastic molding industry. Its advanced alloy composition and ultra-fine microstructure also make it an outstanding blade steel, offering an exceptional combination of edge holding, corrosion resistance, toughness, and polishability.
To further distinguish this Bento Box Shop Exclusive from ordinary versions of the Para 3, it also features vibrant blue textured G-10 handle scales. These precision-machined scales house nested stainless steel liners that provide excellent structural strength and form the foundation of the knife's Compression Lock® mechanism—a high-strength, extremely user-friendly lock that allows safe, easy one-handed operation.
