The Rescue 79mm™ provides the same one-handed opening, extreme cutting power, and ambidextrous operation as Spyderco’s larger rescue knives in a smaller, more easily carried package. The official issue knife for a U.S. federal law enforcement agency, it is perfect for inside-the-pocket carry or for users with smaller hands. The saber-ground blade of the Rescue 79mm is crafted from VG-10 stainless steel and features a fully serrated SpyderEdge™ cutting edge that powers through seat belts, webbing, and rope with ease. The blade is supported by a stout back lock mechanism housed in a handle injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The one-piece handle has a Volcano Grip™ texture pattern for a secure, non-slip grip and includes a reversible pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side, tip-up carry. Available with either a black or high-visibility orange handle, the Rescue 79mm is a pocket-sized lifesaving tool.
