Temperanceā¢ CPM Cru-Wear Sprint RunĀ®
Designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser, the Temperanceā¢ was one of our earliest fixed-blade models. Now this classic design is back as a limited-edition Sprint RunĀ®, showcasing a gray-colored fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle and a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPMĀ® CRU-WEARĀ® tool steel. Specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness, CRU-WEARās advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process to ensure an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Faithful to the original, the knifeās ergonomic handle is injection molded directly onto the tang of the blade and features a series of bilateral ādimplesā to enhance its texture and provide pivot points for grip-change maneuvers. This remarkable resurrection of the Temperance is available in both PlainEdgeā¢ and fully serrated SpyderEdgeā¢ configurations. Both include a custom-molded BoltaronĀ® sheath with a versatile G-Clipā¢ attachment that supports both belt and inside-the-waistband carry.
