UK Penknife™ Leaf

Spyderco developed the UK Penknife after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of folding knives with locking blades. It combines the defining features of our revolutionary CLIPIT® knives—a pocket clip for convenient carry and our Trademark Round Hole™ for easy, ambidextrous one-handed opening—with an improved, nonlocking, notch joint mechanism. This version of the UK Penknife features a full-flat-ground leaf-shaped blade crafted from CTS® BD1N stainless steel. The blade includes a textured index-finger choil as an extra margin of safety and is paired with a lightweight handle built with injection-molded fiberglass reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales.
