Spydercoās very first SLIPITā¢ model, we created the UK Penknifeā¢ after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of folding knives with locking blades. It combines the key elements of our groundbreaking CLIPITĀ® knivesāa pocket clip for convenient carry and our Trademark Round Holeā¢ for easy, ambidextrous, one-handed openingāwith an improved, nonlocking, notched-joint mechanism. This expression of the UK Penknife elevates the design even further with a blade crafted from our proprietary CPMĀ®SPY27Ā® stainless steel. Its advanced, cobalt-enriched alloy composition offers excellent toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The full-flat-ground, leaf-shaped blade features a textured index-finger choil as an extra margin of safety and is housed in a lightweight handle built with fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. The textured scales are injection molded in a signature blue color that identifies our CPM SPY27 family and include a deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for ambidextrous tip-up carry.
